    IKORODU METRO LIONS CLUB GETS NEW PRESIDENT

    Ikorodu Metro Lions Club has elected Mr. Ibrahim Lasisi, a renowned and well rounded professional administrator and manager who currently works with the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered)  in Senior Manager position and Head of Marketing, as the its 19th President for 2022/2023 Lions Service Year.

    Lasisi has had a distinguished working career of over twenty years spanning office administration and management, human resource management, finance and investment, customer relations, protocol and logistics, marketing and consultancy. He has spent the greater part of his work life at the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) rising through the ranks to become Senior Manager in its Directorate of Capacity Building where he currently heads the Marketing arm of the directorate. Since joining the Institute he has worked in the Human Resources, Accounts, Membership Services, President’s Office and the Capacity Building departments distinguishing himself as a hard working, committed and highly resourceful staff. His knack for confidentiality, trustworthiness and dependability saw him serve six successive Presidents of the Institute as Personal Assistant winning the Best Staff Award in the process.

    He joined the membership of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) in 2006 as an Associate and as a result of his meritorious service to the Institute over the years, he was upgraded to the grade of Full Member in 2012.  He equally belongs to the Chartered Institute of Transportation Administration of Nigeria as Member and Institute of Management Consultants as Fellow. 

    Lasisi, a renowned motivational speaker and youth development expert, who has attended many management and leadership training both within and outside the country joined Lions Club in 2016. In recognition of and reward for his innumerable contributions to the development and progress of the club, he was elected its 19th President in 2021 and will be piloting its affairs in 2022/2023.
